Music

Music's the only thing that makes sense anymore. It's wondrous. There's a song for every emotion a person could ever possibly feel. That amazes me. And new music is being made everyday. A brand new song no one has ever heard or thought of. That's insane.

What have I been listening to lately? Mayday Parade, Underoath, The Fray, Lower Definition, All Time Low and the rest of the usuals.

The Dream...

"Whisper in the yard and turn the trees all into toys.

Lay there on the ground, and turn the dirt into your joy.

From what I see and what I know, it's all been boring lately.

So I suggest we trade a question mark in for a maybe.

Time your riddles right, and make a point that has no sense.

Make sure that you're smiling, and the money's been well spent.

Innocence and ignorance, it all goes hand in hand.

I'm not sure that I'm right, but I hope you'll understand.

I hope that you're still searching for the start that has no end,

And all the plastic people have now become your friends.

Before you start to drift and your soul begins to scream,

I just wanted to tell you that you're listening to a dream..."

Judas Iscariot, Savior of Humanity

Judas Iscariot, commonly seen as the disciple that betrayed Jesus when he handed him over to the Roman priests. The name Judas is today used to call someone a traitor or betrayer. Well I believe that Judas got a bad wrap. One has to look a little deeper into the Bible before jumping to conclusions. Jesus foresaw Judas betrayal and yet does nothing to stop it. This brings up a few questions.

Why didn't Jesus try to stop Judas? If Judas was told he would betray Jesus he could have chose not to. He has free will doesn't he? Maybe, maybe not.

Maybe the answers to these questions lie in the Gnostic Gospel of Judas. Here, Judas is portrayed not as a betrayer but an obedient disciple. Jesus knew he had to die for Humanity's sins, but in order to do so he needed a catalyst. This catalyst was Judas. Jesus asked Judas to go to the Roman Priests and turn him over. Judas was now serving Christ and allowing him to be released from the prison of the human body.

Now we can say that Jesus didn't stop Judas because he was fulfilling an prearranged agreement. Judas did not try to avoid his actions because he was being faithful to his Lord. Therefore he did have free will in the choices he made.

As a result of Judas' actions Jesus dies for our sins and in turn saves Humanity from being doomed forever. So Judas saved humanity by doing this. He did this not to betray Jesus but to serve him. Judas Iscariot, the Savior of Humanity.
